To universalize secondary education with quality teaching Swami Vivekanand Govt. Model School, Nagaur is one from the 186 educationally backward blocks identified by the central Govt. of India in Rajasthan. SVGMS, Nagaur is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Swami Vivekananda Government Model School (SVGMS) concentrates on staying at par with the infrastructure and facilities of the same and higher standard as that of a K.V. school with stipulations on pupil-teacher ratio, holistic educational environment, appropriate curriculum, integrated education for the disabled, girl child education, use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in schools.
